Read on… I stumbled upon my father’s diary after he passed away in Nov 2016.
I had always known my father (Achan) as someone who loved long walks and was a traveler – in his head. Owing to financial constraints, he could never travel much.
He was a compelling storyteller and regaled us with stories of places that he had never visited. His diary contained his travel plans to the mountains, something he had only dreamt of. The diary reading kindled something inside me.
This is the story of my pursuit of my late father’s dream over the next 18 months.
