My pursuit of my Achan’s dream – the 5th trip – Jan 2018 – Goa
Achan was scared of beaches, somehow I always have been in love with both mountains & beaches. But his fears always kept coming in my mind having heard so much about it from childhood.
There was short trip planned to Goa by my travel buddies whom I had met in Ladakh .Being my first trip to Goa was excited ,we explored North Goa in typical Goan Style. Had a mind-blowing experience of exploring Touristy places, Bakeries, old churches, pubs, restaurants, beaches, flea markets etc. Tried water sports too and suddenly realised that my childhood fears related to water had just vanished. This Fun trip made me look at different dimension of my personality. Rachna made me fall in love with colours , Rachel introduced me to Wine and Goan cuisines. Hemank entertained us throughout the trip and ensured we were always laughing and enjoying.
Till date we keep referring to all the funny incidents and laugh about it.
It was during this trip that my journey of self-healing and self-love began which was very new and refreshing.
