My pursuit of my Achan’s dream – the 17th Trip –Bir- Barot- 1st March to 5th March 2019
ne of my avid traveller friends Sachin Gupta had started his own travel company. I was really excited to join him for a trip to an offbeat location with a group of seven other people from NCR We had so much fun exploring new hiking routes, walk for 16 Km for having lunch, experimenting with fishing & travelling by sitting on top of the tempo traveller. Though it was a planned trip but due to heavy snowfall and landside we went ahead with the flow rather than following any plan.
I already knew that when you are travelling with Sachin then each day as it unfolds will always be full of surprises. He had a great rapport with the locals which shows up in each interaction. He was always quick to learn new skills on the go too.
Paragliding on my way back in Bir was a once in life time experience. It was the most thrilling experience where in I saw 360 degree views of the Dhauladhar mountain range.
My takeaways were
I learnt to go with the flow to get an enriched experience.
